What Makes These Fenderboards So Special?

In creating our company, the #1 goal was product quality. We are boaters; we understand how frustrating it can be when products don’t hold up. This is why we dedicated over a year to the prototyping development process, asking ourselves one question – how can we make this more robust?

Each Fenderboard is carved from solid FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified Teak to ensure all wood used is sustainably grown and harvested. Every edge has been carefully rounded to prevent accidental dings while transporting about your vessel. Even the line exits are rounded over to prevent line chafe. Mounted twin 316 stainless steel rub-rails provide a hearty wear surface and protect the high gloss varnish finish of the board itself. The rails are secured with 316 stainless steel flush screws.

The line components are equally seaworthy, fashioned from Novabraid Double-Braided Nylon Dock Line (the highest quality dock line in use across the industry). The cut-outs within the Fenderboards allow these lines to hang without chafing and hide the knots from sight for an elegant appearance when in use.

The cross ties in the premium and deluxe kits are tipped with snap-shackles for easy rigging and, after significant testing, we can confidently say these are worth their weight in gold. They simplify the setup process save boaters valuable time.

For keeping these boards and accessories together, the board-bag is a handy piece of kit. It is equipped with a rugged PVC tarpaulin outer shell, which is supported by a polycarbonate exoskeleton to prevent sagging, and lined with quilted waterproof padding to soften bumps/dings.
